my experience in using social media

My name is syifa fadhilatunnisa. I am a student at one of the state universities, precisely the Islamic university of Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung. I was born from a simple family and thank God that the blessing is so beautiful. and for his blessings and gifts, I was able to know what was called social media (Instagram, Facebook, Line, WhatsApp etc.).

My experience with using social media has the effect of good and bad. The impact is good, first. whatever I want to know about the latest news can be checked directly on Google, YouTube etc. there are so many benefits that I get in this media browser, besides making it easier to get the latest news and information, it can also help in making college assignments, such as finding references, e-books, journals etc. secondly, I can know the situation of my family and relatives far away, usually what I often use is whatsapp. the advantages of whatsapp are also more, apart from the complete features like videocall, call, chat etc., the use of quota is very cheap. so this is a mainstay of families and students on campus. then my experience in using Instagram is only to post selling items, and Facebook is a social media that always stores memories and past records.

The bad impact, for me, is that social media is also very disturbing. because every time I do something, I sometimes focus too much on playing social media and ignore the calls of my parents, friends, etc. like the word "keep close ones, draw near ones". then social media is also very quick to hypnotize people, for example children today who are spoiled with youtube, instagram, typewriter so that their childhood is drained with things they do not naturally know. and this social media also makes people addicted to using it.
